Spring has Sprung!!!

March 20th marked the vernal equinox and the first day of Spring in our northern hemisphere.  And here in Ladysmith, Mother Nature was having a bad hair day!  We were lambasted by rain, snow, sunshine, wind and it alternated through the day – my poor dog was quite rattled as to whether to go outdoors or not!  But there are definitely signs of spring popping up everywhere in my garden – snowdrops, crocus, daffodils, hardy cyclamen and the roses and cherry trees are in bud.  They tell me the warm days of summer are not far behind!
